And thanks for the news about the head. I swear when I looked at it I was wondering why the green spray on the mohawk was kinda sloppy. Its an old figure and most likely one he painted. Those are all pretty flawless.
Thanks again stealth !
Also a few days ago, I even asked if he would end the auctions early for 350.00 and he said no, that price was to low. So he is expecting way more.

Yeah that was quite a night - the most packed I've seen the place yet. Good fun!

the prices RxH attract, it was only a matter of time before bootlegs appeared.

funny
But we have to be serious about this. Old figs usually catch some big numbers and it would suck to see someone ripped off here.
Also has anyone noticed the incredible lack of bags, and headers from pretty much all of the current auctions ?

It looks like a big RxH party over there. Congrats on that present to Mori Rich. Always an honor giving Mori a present.

Its not a present, its a commission that logang brought on his own to show Mori. I'm honored that he brought it with him to show off
Amazing support right there !

It was only a photo op. Mori appreciates customs of his characters. Just showing off LASH's skills. That Evil is just visiting, and headed back through US customs with me at the end of next week.

We all here should thank stealthtank. That is the most stunting and the most critical news for all of us here who love RxH.
A bootleg by aution_toy. Damn it.
Way back a week ago when I saw someone who sold 6-7 rxh custom in the sale section. I almost wanna yell out when seeing that thread (I don't wanna mention his name open in this thread)coz I know who is making that bootleg (he just sold a few custom here last week). I want to yell and ask all of us to beware of bootleg coz the seller seems manage the customization skillset.
All those items in that thread are gone very fast and I immediately aware of the bootleg coz that guy's painting skill seems really got appreciation by other members. And I started to worry. But glad his skill is not good enough to fool Mori and our great hero who just visited mori's shop. I almost wanna yell out beware of this guy coz his skill with such poor practice will probably screw up the rxh market .
>>>>> remarks >>>>>>>
Of course, someone like LAsh, PK, kozik... those with great skill and with honor for sure won't be applying their great skill on making this.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now, he TECHNICALLY !!! try to avoid people complaining to ebay that he is selling fake stuff, coz he didn't mention it is 100% authentic, and he didn't mention it is a custom. Once you bought it, you have to be at your own risk. Clever ass.
Gees, I was wondering about this for quite a few days. What I worry really come true. And I feel so sorry for those who bought the custom from him last week in the sale section. I tried to dig it out but looks like that thread is removed.

Garadama - if you know for a FACT that one of our members is selling bootlegs you need to call that out and name drop.

I am so angry now to see someone in my country doing this "thief-like" work. Guys, what can we do ? He tried not to mention if that is authentic or custom but it actually is a realxhead figure. Geees.

I am but an RxH padewan and as such curious . . . wouldn't an all GID Head be worth a similar $$$ as the green/silver spray version he attempted to replicate?
Now I'm kinda suspicious about the all GID Chaos he also has listed!
Are 'we' thinking there just acetoned 'Pickles'?

It's unfortunate that eBay's reportage system forces you to use drop-downs, without some text box to explain your notification in a little more detail. Maybe if they get lots of complaints about this item they'll contact someone for more information. There's a slight typo in garadama's post ... it's "auction_toy" who has this possibly bootlegged item up at the bay.

It could be acetoned but then the vinyl would be dull. Although if he can use a airbrush, he could easily spray on a silk coating to shine it up again.

If it's sprayed to look like an existing figure and it doesn't say in huge, bold text that it's a bootleg/"custom" then call it out. Not mentioning that it's NOT official doesn't make it okay.

from what I hear, the pickles have quite a bit of staining when they're acetoned.
a friend had someone do a custom and when it was stripped, it still had remnants of pigment.
this sucks. if people are selling boots on this board, please let one of the admins know.
