To each their own.
Opinions have been really mixed on this package and perhaps that's a good thing?

Not my bag either, but I think I was a lil' more 'diplomatic' (I didn't use the phrase 'shit payoff' anyways!).

since i'm not a completist and my money is running down the toy drain, i really don't care if there is a set i don't like.

Happy Birthday Cornbluth!
I don't like it either. But then again - i don't like skull-bees, so it's kind of a given.

I actually like their sculpts, characters, aesthetics and vibe. I just don't feel propelled to drop a thousand or several thousand to own them when i can appreciate everyone else's collection here. These figs are meant to be owned in numbers, and I would rather have a plasma screen.
The advertisement on span seriously hyped the shit out of it, and I personally thought there was no payoff, whether or not I own SB is a moot point.
and thanks for the birthday wishes...how did people know? Is it listed in my profile?
and I'm not angry. Just highly opinionated and have no qualm in speaking so. Secret Base is on a serious roll right now, and this one came up short IMO.

Generally, when something gets hyped up and I end up being disappointed, I'm not too bothered because that's money I get to keep... until I find something else... so I get to hold onto the money for like an additional 30 seconds.

I think I kind of missed the hype so I didn't build up my expectations for this one, I only heard brief mention of a new Saga Chan Figure the other day and then saw it when Ramos posted the one in BST. It kind of just came out of nowhere for me and I thought it looked pretty cool when I saw it.

I got to say that I like this bee. the cool part is that it is clear green vinyl painted white from the inside. Amazing detail. the box is rad too. it will hold lots of header cards

I new it looked like it was some sort of clear over solid, that's rad, I'm going to try to get one from Span when they go up.

Just my 2 cents ! I like the Skullbees, but this one is kinda lacking in my humble opinion. And it's expensive too !
