 WHAT DA ?!
I hate seeing this, 2 pieces of da kamen rider head fell in the hand of the SAME person. Each sold at 13800
and now... another one listed with 1000 yen more from the SAME seller.
Hope S7 will be getting this, so no need to panic buy

 Re: WHAT DA ?!
I always wondered how this happens?
I mean do they just walk into the RxH shop and say " Ill take 5 of that new mini chaos and another 5 of the new mini head" or somthing?
Shouldnt Mori enforce a policy of 1 per customer or somthing if he doesnt already?

 Re: WHAT DA ?!
its indeed sad to see this. the head sold out in an hour+ and most went promptly to resellers.
it is strictly one per walk-in customer.
it really seem easier to score stateside than in japan these days. this head seems pretty few in japan, hopefully there will be more stateside.

 Re: WHAT DA ?!
So if it is strictly 1 per walk in customer- how are people scoring multiple copys of the same figure?

 Re: WHAT DA ?!
Guys, sometimes the flippers bring their wives, friends, family members, whatever to buy for them, in tandem.
I am hoping S7 has a good quantity of these too.

Yeah, you gotta wonder who is giving these guys financial advice though. I mean they are probably going to make at least 2x retail for these, most likely more than that. Obviously math is not a strong suit for the accomplices. Oh well, flipping continues and we are still our own worst enemies. At this point I'm not the least bit surprised when i see these things sell for ridiculous amounts the day after they go on sale at retail.

 Re: WHAT DA ?!
The worst part for me is that the artist doesn't make as much off of their work as the flippers do. That seems f'ed.

stealthtank wrote: S7 is getting the lion's share of these guys. Just like the Superfest Chaos's.
There were a good amount made so everyone can take a deep breath and relax.
There were more of these made than the Rider1 Chaos and way way more than the V3 Evil according to the man himself.
I was hoping I could buy one before I left Japan, but Mori said to not worry as S7 is getting hooked up on this one. Huge news! I've missed the last few but the balm has been knowing that this one is still out there. Good hunting all!

I had a couple of long conversations with Mori over this. He knows that the majority of people who walk in and buy the hot new releases (especially the OG4 guys) are flippers. So to combat that he has a strict one per customer policy for everybody. And now that he sees that most of the flippers are selling stateside, he is trying to make more of the run available to S7 to help alleviate the high price markup. Again the trouble is, trying to find talented artists who are willing to do Koji Harmon-type paint jobs for a few bucks a figure (to keep the cost down). Keeping quality up, while making them available for everyone is the challenge. I think he's doing a hell of a job. He truly wants to make high quality figures that everyone can enjoy. Crazy! Thanks for the insight! Mori seems to really have a handle on things. It’s just frustrating to know he makes X amount on a figure but some jerk makes X2 or X3 off of Mori's hard work. I'd much rather pay Mori more than an opportunist. But I guess there is no fool proof way in this business. Where there is money to be had...

I only buy from S7, Rotofugi, and board members (and on rare occasions through a Japanese friend). I don't buy all that much stuff, but I figure if I can't get it that way, I can wait. There isn't any toy that I *need* badly enough to reward some parasite who is only going to make it harder for me to get hot releases in the future.

Great post, sadly for those of us not in the same time zone as S7 it's simply that much harder to snag a release at retail which means, unfortunately, often paying a flipper parasite for the chance to own the toy you probably couldn't get otherwise. At least until the "I finally got the figure and wasn't really feeling it as much as I thought I would" sales

There is nothing I need bad enough to pay 2x retail for it. I have a pretty strict retail rule for RxH. It has to be a very specific situation for me to pay anything other than retail. Which is also why I have a really crappy RxH collection

Ya... they used to help getting what you want, but when they also realized how much they can make to sell those items instead of buying for you. My agent had been saying "Oh, u know it is difficult to get now, I will try but you have to send me money first." He will tell you nothing can be got and you will be seeing he is using another account to sell the thing one by one.
