 Reigo?
Anyone know what this is? Google's feeble translation gave me 'Reigo' but I've got no idea. It looks like the spawn of Godzilla and a fish. http://atelierg-1.com/shopdetail/002001000031/There's some cool Kaiju stuff on that site. I'm not a big Gigan fan, but that gold/cream version is tight. But then again, for $300 it should be... -- jJ

Deep-sea animal ray go open commemoration limited light gathering model
I think Reigo is right... (Here's a snippet from wiki)
Deep Sea Beast Reigo (深海獣零号, Shinkaijū Reigō?) is a 2005 independent tokusatsu film by comedian/fan Shinpei Hayashiya. Veteran designer Keita Amemiya designed the titular monster. This film's original working title was Reigo Vs. the Yamato (レイゴー対大和 - Reigô tai Yamatô).
This film, set in World War II, depicts the story of the real-life Japanese battleship, the Yamato, which is confronted in the Pacific Ocean by giant monsters, including the most fearsome of them all, Reigo.

 Re: Reigo?
from what I know, everything on those pages are hand-paints and limited to 1-5, give or take. You can order them

 Re: Reigo?
Thanks for the responses.
Yeah, that rainbow Hedorah is crazy. The customs on the site are impressive, but, damn, $300? That's overboard.

 Re: Reigo?
Hedorah sporting his PRIDE colors for June, eh? Good for him! hehehe
I was under the impression that the Atelier G-1 Hedorahs were pretty big. I don't remember exactly, but I think they are 15" or something like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If they are 15", then $300 isn't all that much for a handpaint of this size. I didn't see the watermelon Hedorah that they did a while back. That one was awesome!

 Re: Reigo?
Mmm...they're definitely not 15", but I'd say 10"-11". Bigger than standard size...but then again, Hedorah was huge in the movie, so in standard scale, maybe 11" makes sense. Anyway, the point is, they ARE big.
