I was wondering if there is much gold/metallic painted japanese vinyl out there. After seeing pics of the blobpus gunmetal gold figures, I want to know if more exists (if you're looking to get rid of any, feel free to PM me... although I am trying to save $$ for SDCC). I've seen gold sprays on godzilla figures... but that's about it.

Not JP vinyl, but a few years ago a company named Bosley made bobbleheads and some of them were done in a similar style. Bronze, Gold and I think silver. Very cool effect. looked exactly like the real deal, but was still vinyl with a coating of some kind. I had to pick up the aged bronze Rudy Giulliani with a FDNY baseball hat on his head.
