This Head Shop auction is nuts!
Anybody watching this auction? It's even got a couple of scuffs.

Yes!! Scuffed bad enough to see clearly in the pics even. I've been watching it and I'm dying to know who is Toymax? He has spent a ton on some things recently.

I take it that this brain is rare and hard to find as a board member is stalking it...

Yikes! Well at least Mr. Carlson will be happy.
I've seen quite a few of these brains come and go and I think if you look long enough you can get lucky and hook up for less than $100. At least I did. That said, it is also one of my favorite brains. I love the matte finish on the paint job.

Not as hard to come by as some. I've seen this one on YJA a couple of time this past month - and not for higher than probably about $60.

There were two up for sale on YJA just a week ago... I think I ended up paying 5000 yen for it. Unless something I'm unaware of is wrong with the one I got, I don't know why the one on eBay is going for so much.
Oh well, I think we've all had dealings where we went a little nuts... right?

that is my #1 MOST WANTED fig and i was watching that thing right when it went up. i was bummed to see it scuffed and didn't even consider bidding once it went over $50 and cannot believe the money it brought in. i would never pay that much for a fucked up figure. i guess someone has money to blow out their ass. as long as it makes them happy i guess. my eyes remain peeled on YJP. if anyone ever sees one pop up please keep me in mind. i REALLY want this guy but i will not sell my soul.

persoanlly i think for the money you can find one in better shape-The scuffs and marks on that one would ruin it for me..

Without header card and in that condition I wouldn't give it shelf space.
Displaying less than A1 condition stuff gives me the cold sweats . . . OCD . . . I think so!

yeah when I get toys with even one scuff on them I can't quit looking at it and it just starts to bug the hell out of me!!!!!! I might have paid $20.00 for that one and then had someone customize it.

I've posted before that it is my number 1 want - I bid on that guy early on in the running. Also, the other pink on YJ went for much more than 5000. 5000 for that guy was a steal - congrats!

That's kinda why I'm a bit worried... what do people know that I don't know about the one that I won?

Because they weren't looking Loco, or bidding on something else. I have got a couple of bargains like that but not as much with everyone going celga crazy!

This is the deal Loco, I tried to bid on that guy too, but Celga will only take one bid - you got in there first, and for some reason no one else with a Gold acct, or from another service, bid against you. Good for you!
But right now, I'm thinking of going Celga Gold, or using someone else...I ahven't manged to put in a single SB bid lately without being told somone else is in front of me

If its any consolation, toymax bid up the Bemon on ebay only to be sniped by Geo.
I snoozed on the friggin auction and missed it by minutes...
Everyone just focus on saving for your children's college education and let me attempt to remember to bid on the stuff I want...
Okay? Thanks!
