I ordered one through S7 - have those started shipping yet or did you get one from another source? I saw a photo of it somewhere - they look wicked cool and should go nicely with the M1 tinsel hedorah.

Yep...S7....they be shipping! It actually outclasses the Hedorah. The Hedorah is just clear (save for the eyes) with tinsel....Goji has color highlights AND tinsel.

Damn, I keep coming back to look at your photos, Hillsy! That's one beautiful Godzilla!!! Is it just the spines that are painted, and the body has purple tinsel/foil in it? Or does the body have paint on it too? The first photo looks like the body has translucent spray, but the second picture makes it look like the color is due to something being inside the body.

scored one last night on YJA for S7 retail.

Saw a similar one at Superfestival but it had a metallic green hue to it. beautiful.

then I saw the upcoming Grand King in this same clear with blue / purple tinsel colorway. wonderful

There was a Balton & a Garamon, as well. (Maybe the Balton did not have tinsel, can't remember.)

This batch of Marusan are great. I don't remember seeing the baltan in the metallic film too. I think its just clear yellow vinyl. But the Garamon came in a few insanse materials and paint apps.
Should be able to see it at KT's site under Hobby Complex if I'm right. Will try to locate and post it.

I picked up the Garamon a while back and was just marveling at it the other day. Fantastic!

The thing is, I haven't cracked it open yet (taken it apart), but when I put it up to light, I can't actually make out any of the "iridescent foil". Is there really something inside of it??

Looks pretty empty to me. I just figured it was painted with transparent pearlescent paints...

First one to hair dryer the fella and rip out his limbs gets a heads up.

should be some pearlescent ribbon inside. kinda like a foil.

bummer if yours doesn't have it.
