 Blobpus question
Hi I can't assemble the parts of my DX Blobpus murder. Because of guts, I can't clip the tentacles. No problem for the head. Does somebody have the same problem? I know the technique of the hair drier, but that does not work. What is the solution ? thanks.

 Re: Blobpus question
IN THEORY: you could, heat up the body pull the guts out, attach the arms, put the guts back in, then the head...or you could just trade it to me if that doesnt work.

 Re: Blobpus question
heat the hell out of the body and the guts, then squeeze the guts out of the way and insert the arms (you might have to heat those too) and with luck the guts should move back to their original shape.

 Re: Blobpus question
I use a space heater to assemble/disassemble tough vinyl, I think it's better & easier than the hairdryer method. Don't burn your toys, though!

 Re: Blobpus question
The heating meathod was just make so much clearer to me the other day. Get youself the super cheapy kind of hairdryer and put it in a small box on low with the toy for like 1 or 2 min. The whole thing is soft like butter.

 Re: Blobpus question
i tend to hold the figure or figure part about 6 inches above the burner on my stove top. gives you a free hand to test the softness of the vinyl instead of holding the hair dryer...

Man, some of you guys are brave... stove ranges and space heaters do not mix with figures in my book.
I have the same Murder DX, and I just headed the body up really well and the arms popped right in. Might have to play around with it for a little bit, but if you get the joints nice and soft you shouldn't have too much trouble.

 Re: Blobpus question
if it's cold enough where you are you can always pop it on a radiator. Thats what I always do. But the I don't have a hair dryer. Or a pot of boiling(ish) water.

 Re: Blobpus question
Good luck, I assembled a Honey Bee kit once and it took far much more effort and number of attempts than expected before I finally got all the limbs/wings in.
