hi I am new to the forum and I joined because I received a bunch of these Japanese vinyl toys from my uncle. he was a big collector of all different things. I have 30 of these toys (some are doubles and some are actually the same one, I just added them to the display before taking that picture). the writing on the packaging is all in Japanese (I think?) and it says "Rainbow" on there too. I looked online and found something called Rainbow Barom that seems to be what these are, but I would like to know more about them such as what they are from. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

These are Barom-1 figures, and they're made by Rainbow. Someone with more knowledge of the characters than me can give you info about which characters they are.

These are worth like a few bucks each, I'd do you a favor and take them off your hands for 50 bucks.

On the top shelf, far right, that's not a Japanese figure. That's a toy by Gary Taxali.

If I recall, he was asking about how much these figures go for before he edited.

The guy in the middle on the second shelf is Gorgos from kamen rider amazon.

I am actually not looking to sell anything in my collection. I just know nothing about these toys because they were given to me when my uncle moved out of his house and started selling all his stuff. I am curious to know if they are from a Japanese TV show or something, just any info about them really. I am aware the toy in the top right is not part of the set it is just up there on display. there are a few other things I am not sure where they are from. they might have been custom made for him. (sorry for the picture links I don't know how to just include the pics). let me know if anyone knows anything.

originally yes I did ask the value of these figures. they were handed down to me and I knew nothing about them. I have never owned anything like this before and I could see that everyone here has lots of experience with this kind of stuff. I wanted to find out everything I could about them and if they were valuable so they wouldn't end up at a garage sale in the future for $5. the reason I asked was for my own informational purposes only, I never had any intention of selling anything I post. and yes I did edit my post because I didn't want people to get the idea that I was here to advertise this collection as a sale, which is what I think most of you thought.

Just as a last word on identification, in addition to the excellent group photo PlasticXO did which Kevin posted, he also compiled a great database listing all the characters. I think there may be some that were released since the last update, but it is still an incredibly useful resource.

this definitely seems a little out there, but I guess that's what people would say if they watched the show Power Rangers over in Japan. it seems to be pretty similar.

a person dressed up in tights with a helmet fighting all these weird monsters that come from a main bad guy? sounds the same to me only this show is 1 good guy and not a bunch.
