Saw a pic of a very small Anraku Ansaku Pandaxaxaricho figure but it was not very clear and wanted to see if some had a clear picture of one....and if is truly an Anraku figure

From what I could see, it looked very detail for a very small figure

Thanks Bryce

That was the pic I saw but this one is a lot clearer - I am assuming that the figure has to be no bigger then 2 inches if the goga is around 4 inches

does any one on the board own one of these?

I think a few people do, I have a couple but pretty simple colors, white and off white and black.

yes I have one. it's small, doesn't stand on it's own, comes with a briefcase and is made of resin.

there are a few versions out: green, orange, a light cream colour, and i think a white. that's what I can think of anyway...

probably my least favorite anraku toy, mostly because it falls all of the time unless you use the briefcase to prop him up.

yeah,,it seems to only stand with the briefcase...

my cream colour one also came with a resin knife which tucked under his briefcase arm real nice..unfortunately the knife is now MIA..

i keep it on my desk at work & i think the cleaner sucked the knife up into the vacuum during a rigorous cleaning a couple months ago... funny,,she is usually very careful with all the toys i have out..

i think ed is correct,,there are 4 versions all together..

In my haste..I thought you were talking about the guy on the far right. Anyway...I have the black and white version and it never stands up.I have to lean against some other toy. I didn't get a briefcase though and only got a knife.
Here's a picture from plover's flickr.

thanks for a close-up of an older one..

looks like the older green or orange will never stand then :(

the left hand is not notched to hold the briefcase,,nor is there a knife space under the left armpit like the cream or white...

There a lot of different versions of this figure. There also a red version as well. I think the green and orange are the most common though.

And it's true they rarely stand on their own - they need help.

I had not considered it before, but it makes sense that the newer white and offwhite stand because the sculpt was changed to include the briefcase. The green, orange and red(thanks tim) were released a while before three newer versions.

The newer were released this past year as I recall

I thought I had heard the newer version is made entirely of resin.

Anyone know if that is true?

Mamaregon is soft vinyl, and Panda is some sort of hard plastic or resin.

I hope that helps.
