Post Chaos Numbers
okay.... so i'm reading B/S/T and i'm keeping in mind what recent RXH figures have gone for... what i've paid for and what others have paid for.

are there numbers behind certain chaos releases which justify the cost of recent auctions? (like the purple chaos... think it's purple. haha)

anyway, are any auctions for mutant chaos above say... 250, that unreasonable? does anyone know what the run numbers on Chaos figs are?

this is really an open question.

I wouls assume around 30 each for most recent RxH figures, especially the ones S7 does not get.

Where does that number come from? I've heard it mentioned a number of times and was wondering on what it is actually based?

I can't source that number so consider it a reliable rumor.

are you trying to say it's just a rumor?

no offense, i'm just more about stating things plainly. no point in saying something unless it has meaning.

I thought it meant that he more or less knew it to be true, but couldn't say who his source was.

Most RxH figures are runs of 30.
Some, mainly event limited specials, are very limited. Usually only 10 are produced, and in one case I know of the run was only 7.
Read my lips: S-E-V-E-N.
The Purple Chaos was a run of 10.
I'm not sure about the Green. I would guess 30 as it was a standard release, but it may have been less as RxH were not, ah, 'famous' before that figure came out. The last Green Chaos on YJA went for just over 30000yen.
Demand, or the relative popularity of one figure compared to another, also has a part to play in this. So, for example, a very limited Bigalo will never be worth as much as a standard release Chaos.
Poor Bigalo!

Perhaps I shouldn't be dragging this out but I have another question.

When you say 30 are you meaning 30 pieces for the actual event at which they are released? Take the recent wcc22 Ramune release for example. Were there 30 of these for this event or 30 in total including what S7 may receive?

I think this has caused some confusion before so I thought I'd put it out there.

Ah, good point. I am talking about the numbers released here in Japan.
I do understand that recently they have been making 'extra' for S7, yes.
You'd have to ask Ramos on numbers for those.

We all do but for a limited figure going for 300 bucks there needs to be a reason and if its only a run of 30 I'd have to say its worth it..Theres only 33 GID ghostfighters and they average 300 bucks from what i've seen.

Do the resin copies I'm making in my basement count?

Hint: I do not have a basement. :)

Btw, interested in where that 33 for the GID GF comes from - that is a strangely precise number. ..... see, u have me all interested in numbers now...gak... if there wasn't enough to worry about :)
