Mutant head as my muse
Thanks to RxH I have gotten my creative "juices" back
Tell me what you guys think. I'm about 90 % done. Still have more shading to do. Then I want to do some matting with maybe a little watercolor.
I did it in ink and graphite.
The begining stages
Afetr some ink
I will post pics when 100% finished

I'm with Datadub. There's no doubt you can draw, really nice line work and I love your colour choices. That said, to me this reads more like a fashion illustration than the Mutant Head we've all come to love. Give me some drama! I hope you keep at it because I'd love to see where this goes.

O yeah data I already have an idea for a evil
Almost finished with this one guys. Thanks fo rthe advise it looks so much better in full color.
So now the body is all done but now with all the color I decided to get rid of the gray back round and use color instead.
Than mat it, but I have an idea for the matting aswell.
So when its ALL finished I will post it again.
Thanks for the support fellas !

O yeah I wanted him to be in a "fashion" pose. I drew it thyat way on purpose, so I'm glad it read that way.
My original title for this thread was "Muatnat in high fashion" To make fun of the Calvin Klein underwear adds
But I want the evil to be more devious. I have found a good model in a pose that I think will work well.
So when I'm done I will start him, hopefully when I get back from rhode island this weekend.
As well I wanna do a character in even a more realistic style all pencil no ink. Very high class.

Awe fuck it
Before I hit the sheets here is an update.
I changed the backround like mentioned to a sunburst style. Here is the begining stages, remember I have alot more to go:
And here is a close up on the skin texture, I have to go back in with ink and cover up the green that splated on the dark areas. Also the black only looks like this because of the glear from the ligt. it was done in indian ink so its very dark:
Off to bed and when I get out of work I will finish this tomorrow night.
Peace
