It looks like a character from the game: Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey

If you look up that name on google images you will see the same guy all over the game cover

Ohhhhhhh......fuck, that's hot.

Damn, and I just got the red- and regular-glow figures, too! This guy looks great...can't wait to add the inevitable glowie(s) of this sculpt to the mushroom zombie crew.

Except for the eyes, very similar to the M1Go version. Hmm..

i like it, i think its torso is more human shaped, and the arms more defined like a human as well. the neck is slimmer and the mushroom top is great!

Have y'all seen the movie? There are dozens of these mushroom-zombie guys running around, so it makes sense that they'd be different, but somewhat similar (and in different stages of transformation).

I love it. More Matango is never a bad thing.

Yeah, there's a fair variety of them in the movie. But the M1 sculpt is still my favorite - I don't think there'll ever be a better Matango sculpt.
This new Toygraph one looks very similar to one I've seen before, but can't remember the maker for the life of me. I think it may have been more of a "kit".

X-Plus did a Matango that looks similar to this new Toygraph sculpt. It came with a base and had to be partially assembled if I remember correctly. There was a glow and a normal version.

I hear ya. That's real.

But I'm not sure if you guys are really thinking about the X-Plus sculpt. That thing's got some REAL different proportions since it's supposed to be a very realistic sculpt based on one of the movie suits.

I was checking out pics of those new Matango over the weekend also. They remind me of larger versions of the old charactics mini. Definitely will have to pick one up in the future. Best thing I saw from Wonderfest would have to be these and the M1 Gargantuas set. Here's a better pic from Kadomium's Blog:

The Charactics has been my favorite sculpt of Matango so far, but the toygraph is REALLY nice! Love the slim neck & arms & the angle of the head. I can't wait to catch one!

I was a bit unsure about this new Matango sculpt at first since it is pretty similar to the M1 but after continued viewing Im liking it allot. Definitely will be trying to pick these up.
Wish the yellow vinyl was the standard golden yellow though rather then this bright lemony yellow.. still... great figures.
