Got mine today and just noticed mine has dark silver feet rather than gold.
Or is it an effect of the flash on your pic ?

My bird's feet are not gold I think that's just the lighting in the room. It was really hard to capture the blue. It's a deep bright danish blue color.

Ah, you really got me wondering ! For some reasons, I don't manage to get some greens and blues the right rendering with my camera. I think your pic is closer to reality than mine.

I think I bought this from Sanjeev in 2012 and it came with a note saying it was made by Modern Toy.
Is it actually one of these CCP reissues?

Great question Dave - and an equally excellent figure, so congrats on getting a real beauty out of Sanjeev's mitts. :) Actually, that fella you have there is by Bearmodel. They did a few different versions of him, including some painted colours and this very cool clear version.

I think probably it was just an accidental mix-up with the headers. This guy should have come with a header similar to this one below, generously documented in detail by Moog (thanks, man!). I can probably dig up a photo of the packaged figure to confirm if you'd like; but yeah, the header shown there looks like a CCP one from one of the reissues.

Thank you.
I did think it was a Bearmodel a while back but never confirmed it.
Then I saw a message from someone recently about something (the Awesome Toys?)
that then lead to the CCP Spectreman reissues and I found this thread.
Thanks for posting that header! :)

Hey, no problem at all, that is what the board is here for. And I am glad the DB is still out there for people perusing. These are great toys, so folks appreciating them is a pleasure; and there is definitely a lot of connection to the recent AT ones - which were equally 'inspired' by the original Masudaya sculpts, along with the bootleg sources.

In the for what it's worth department, here is a shot of the packaged Spectreman figure. You can note the small foil sticker as well on the bag which indicates this particular guy was an exclusive release (熱血王限定), and also that this guy did not have the small paper insert that came with many of these Bearmodel Spectreman toys.

Thanks again!
I was just searching and found a few matches but none with the bag and header.
I know so much about most of the other toys in my collection :?
This one was still in question.
