I was really thinking about the talkers thread last night. I think it would be pretty cool if S7 could do something along the lines of a pull-string talker for a midsized reissue along the lines of the Shogun Stormtrooper (in the event that the Boba Fett development continues to be delayed). Sure there are always lame Star Wars items that feature 'voice action' but I want to hear the cheesy lines, not the cliched overused garbage; [These aren't the droids we're looking for] or even something in Japanese [I find your lack of faith disturbing]. I would love to hear some foreign versions - [He's no good to me dead] in five diff. languages?, and this probably would go a long way overcoming the licensing issue (heck, they could even be recorded by locals). And of course, soft vinyl all the way
On second thought, scrap all that. I don't think Lucasfilm would ever approve anything remotely close to that, as it would tie in too closely for competition with their 'own' products.

The jumbo Shogun was a one-off of something that they would never get in to, so I think that is why they (probably grudgingly) gave their blessing. What about a slightly smaller, say 12", classic '66 Ultraman? [Shuu-watch!] Or maybe there are some lesser-known tokusatsu heroes (villains!!!) that could be approved.
Super7 crew, Brian, any takers?
Post Script - a final note on the SW line. What I would really like to see, and this may help with the licensing if there are more Star Wars products in the works, are conceptual pieces of the characters, i.e. McQuarrie Vader (one of the best creative design I have ever seen) or Boba Fett. I would actually much prefer a stylised character like this, and it is safe to say that LF/Hasbro is not going to expand from the few they've released for the 3 3/4" line.
