Does anybody know what the inspiration behind the "BOOMY" fly/student figures from Goccodo is ?

Those manga and an anime that depict Japanese students like that, maybe. Yuyu-Hakusho.. But with a fly head?

Nah I really don't know, I have wondered too with all the variations..
