Relatively new company called Eye Scream.
Up to now, they've made mostly pvc figs of girls from various manga.
This will be their maiden voyage in the realm of kaiju production.
They're marketing it as a release to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ultraman, and it's due to hit in late November.

The price?

....but for those that might not know, we have to distinguish, here- these pics show the second appearance of Pigmon in an episode of the Ultraman series- Garamon- a five-story, organically-remote-controlled, Japan-thrashing beast, actually only appeared in Ultra Q, the Tsuburaya production that preceded Ultraman and was sorta the X-Files of its day in Japan.

They refurbished the aging, damaged suit (as they often did w/ their kaiju suits- Eiji and co. were masterfully artistic recyclers)- actually changing the detailing and coloration quite a bit- to make Pigmon.

So really, Eye Scream's sculpt here is truly a sculpt of Garamon, tho it's being marketed as an Ultraman commemorative piece....

Wow! That's an amazing figure.

Although they cannot compare in size, not swappable parts, the X-Plus version does look very similar. I have both a red and grey and love them - plus they only cost me 4000 Yen!

My girlfriends old company Vice did the prototype for this. I cant believe I am not getting it, I just dont have almost a grand to drop right now. Funnier part is when I told my girlfiend I wasn't getting it she was more surprised than me!
