another rare vintage toy...
since there are quite a few threads about vintage toys:
http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e59313204
i'm not sure about the name of this guy... i translated the page but not sure which is the real name. all i know is this guy talks, and is 14"... made by masudaya
i think is related to astro gasoga (wich is also pretty rare and has been at yahoo jp not so long ago...)
so how much that will go for? (was still 1,000 yen when i checked the auction)
how much brian flynn will bid?
and i need to know the name! (shame on me)

Live Link ?
Posting live auction links is not always a good idea when dealing with hard to find or desirable toys.
While many will probably pat your head and say, "nice hunting snoops" (right before they go place a bid) an equal or greater amount will want to inflict some horrible curse upon you...
Many other (toy collecting) boards prohibit the posting of live links.
I don't know if the S7-Gurus have issued any policy regarding this or not, but you may wish to keep this in mind before pointing something out to an entire online community.

Your Poseidon is talking doll by Masudaya.

I love Poseidon!
Babalon 2 was a excellent comic (one of the first manga I ever got as a kid!)
I have the Nostalgic heroes version. Same creator as original Giant Robot I believe,

don't usually go around posting live links of this desirable toys all the time. besides, is not the first time that somebody post rare stuff on this boards where the majority of the collectors are not going to kill themselves to get this guy so i guess you have no competition here if you are going to bid on this one... so take it easy man!

No prob' I can't afford this one anyway...
But I do know a few people who can, and who are seeking this piece.
And some of them do hang out around here from time to time....
Didn't intend to come off terse....

no worries man! my intention was to share something rare and that people new to jp vinyl doesn't know about... and i didn't know the name of this guy either! (even though i've seen some pics of him before) and you're right about posting links here but unfortunately, some board memebers could post links of rare pieces without knowing how rare desirable they are.
sorry if this post was an inconvenient for some people who are seeking this piece (curses and complains by pm are welcome)
