 Did i buy a knockoff?
i just bought this & i just read a thread about BxH knockoffs... seemed like a good price, was it too good of a price (i've never bought any BxH stuff so i dunno)? no original baggie and teh seller has more BxH stuff. I probably should have done more research before i bought it:

Hard to tell on this picture. The reflection is blurring the details on the head. It looks legit...

This is in it's bag. Did you receive the BxH already?

the discription seems to say that its authentic, and I've heard that yahoo japan sellers are genrally honest about those things. I've been lucky with some good deals on opened toys on yja, so good luck!

I have 8 of them and never had that problem (unless these knock offs are done so well I can't tell).
I am only into the Skull Kuns, not into the penguin, rabbit, or the dogs...it could be those getting copied...
Where did you read about this?

this is in celga's faq:
Quote: Question: Why do Yahoo Japan sellers provide such sparse descriptions for their items? Ebay sellers drown us in detail!
Answer: This is due to a major cultural difference: Japanese sellers expect to be trusted. They generally will mention if an item is a reproduction, or if parts are missing from a kit; but if everything is in order, they generally will not mention it. They expect the buyer will understand that. and the google translation of the auction says: Quote: Of course, it is the proper item. (Is not the foreign country make)
so I guess you have to just wait and see if they have the serial numbers (not sure if the real ones of these do though)

all real bxh toys have a laser etched dot matrix number on the foot or bottom somewhere.

not to hijack the thread, but does the kidhunter have the dot matrix numbers? I got one without any numbers but I assumed it was because it was their first toy. It was cheap enough that I guess I dont care too much either way though.

There's no number on the Moguru Kun, or the Kaws Kun.

That looks real and that is the going price for the figure. I have been screwed by misleading photos from sellers. They aren't all honest so I guess the best defense is check the feedback.

Are you 100 % on this ?
I forget what it was I think one of the monster family set or the metling kun. It came sealed with all legit BxH bags unopened and they didnt have the dot matrix on them.
I asked and 2 other here replied and said theres was the same way.

 BXH authenticity
There are no Laser Dot Matrix number on the very first 3 BXH figure, Kid Hunter & Great White / Red One. The kun that rhinomilk have bought on YJP is real.
