I need help with the names of these 2 characters. help!
this was on an old marusan order sheet or poster.

I dont remeber the name but the dog and cat first appeared in the 1930's to encourage children to militarize under Nationalist Japan. Theres lots of tin toys of them. all military themed. The dog was 'army' and the cat was ' naval aviator'.
some of the tins go for tens of thousands of dollars.

That's Norakuro. He was indeed in the Japanese Imperial Army in the 30's-40's, but has been brought back now and again to promote the JSDF.

one time I saw one that was a tin 3-d landscape and he was in a ww2 tank that when you wound it up ran around the landscape on a hidden track I wanted it sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad but it was like 8000.00 dollars.
