Post Authenticity.... how ?
Just wonder if there is any official party to verify the authenticity of our vintage items. Like the CIB ?

I spot that the starwars darth vadar usually are taken to the CIB and they will give that paper

Can we give them a Marusan KANEGON and they know the way to verify ?

not a bad question . the blue bullmark kanagon and the blue bandai re issue used pretty much the same colors and unless you are looking at them both in person .....pretty hard to tell . others in the first re issue bandai did are also hard to tell the difference . i know a very savy collector who wont buy a giant red king unless he sees it in person . when marusan re issued some of the marusan originals they were almost exact . smell is one way to tell but kinda hard to smell an auction .

As in, the new one will still have that new-vinyl 'outgassing' smell, and the vintage will not? Don't they now even make 'vinyl-outgas' plasticizer-scent in an aerosol spray for applying/renewing a new-car smell?
