The fat mummy with the red baseball hat is hilarious. Man, I love vintage stuff but I'll wait until I'm a millionaire to start a collection.

bansheebot , the fat mummy is from a story about ghosts but i cant remember the name of the show . as far as needing big bucks to collect vintage stuff , well , that mummy cost about $15 . while i was at the airport leaving the con i ran into a fellow board member who was telling me prices for western and eastern vinyls and a lot of that was running higher than vintage .

I hereby resurrect this goddamn thread. The "fat mummy" is mira otoko from Medaman. So much rockbat and zaboga gold in this thread...

In the front row of minis dead centre there is a little gold robot looking guy with a bluish-tinge head. Anyone know what that is? That's great. Also, I noticed in the back of one of those earlier photos a jumbo villain tahou buffalo which is supposedly only 20 left in the world or something crazy like that, is that right?

 Re: random wierd stuff
The gold robot is from Zaboga Stronger I think. I know it is bullmark.
The Taiho Buffalo is indeed rare. I am not sure if only 20 exist, but there sure aren't very many.

 Re: random wierd stuff
Ah, thanks...I might be confused with Lensari. I'll go check, I think I know where I read that. He's still awesome....I'll regret selling all my Jumbos but we just bought a new house and it needed to be done. I really want that mini.

 Re: random wierd stuff
My eyes gravitate right to the Reman (Jumbo & Clear) and Triple Fighter (Clear), but on a whole Jim has one of the best collections I've ever seen.

I doubt Taiho Buffalo is much lower in numbers than a hasami jaguar or Kame Bazooka. But they certainly seem to come up for sale less often. I know I wouldn't sell one if I had it either.

 Re: random wierd stuff
Heres something you dont see everyday( or decade), standard size Bankid. Not really very expensive because nobody really cares about this character, but if your looking for one. good luck. Of course now that i have said that watch half a dozen of these pop up on yahoo. Lucky for me my friend Erik sent me a link to the auction because he was curious what it was.

^^^^ I like this Bankid a lot. it's weird what makes one thing popular and another not. I don't care that I've never heard of Bankid. it's a cool toy!

 Re: random wierd stuff
Interesting, never seen this guy or heard of this show before today. Also strange this toy doesnt show up in any of the major reference books. Thats the cool thing about this hobby.. there's always something new.
EDIT: Never mind its shown in the Hero book with Oba Q on the cover just never noticed before.

Had my agent order me one from Amazon Japan last week. For some reason it's ok to ship me Treasury Appraisal Mook direct BUT Amazon Japan won't ship that book? The licensing as what can actually leave Japan for overseas still baffles me.
