Wayne, what are those little red things on either side of Godam (on the card)? I have that mini--loose, of course!--but I've never seen those things.

They slid into two slots on the back. See the middle of the backing card. It also came with a cool sheet of stickers.

Ah, removeable jet pack - that is awesome! It's great that you ended up opening this guy, peeling off these blister packs definitely makes me feel like a kid each time.

"Jet pack"?? I thought they were batteries! How else do giant robots save the world each week??? ;)

But for real, de-carding a vintage figure takes balls, man! Haha...I'd probably have no problems with a carded Godam since he's not super-rare and I'm not a huge fan of the character...but if it were a super rare toy or a character I loved, I'd likely leave him on the card.

I keep coming back to gawk at the Popy Tin robots and that fantastic Kyodai Jiraishin!

It's this type of open/clean presentation that allows you to really appreciate each and every figure and become mesmerized by each of their designs and details.
You've got impeccable taste and kudos on the display. Well done!

Both are obviously spectacular...but that Daidenjin really tickles all my sensitive robot bits...

Superb 009 set! Great that they still have nice, clear chest vinyl. Are those Denboku guys behind them? The villain character looks pretty sweet too.

Clover Daitarn Dendou Kyodai ("Electromotive Giant") Set. Finally picked this up from my Dads after a recent visit to the States. This was from the Robot Japan Morphys Auction a few years back. Looking forward to putting it together this weekend. I had to recently sell my medium sized Zanbot to pay for car repairs so I am stoked I get to keep this. :D

I love that set of GeGeGe no Kitaro figures. I am sure glad they found such a nice home. I have been neglecting my hunting for them, but they are such nice figures, and a crazy bargain for what you are getting usually.
