 Headshots, bits, and other close-ups With so many great photographers here (me not being one of them) we really need a thread dedicated to the detail on vintage vinyl. Karate-chops, high-noon stares, toothy growls, ass-kickin' boots, slimy scales - let's see that elegance and artistry of toy design. My old point-and-shoot is utter rubbish for macro shots, but I'll get it started.

Re: Headshots, bits, and other close-ups i don't know about you guys, but for me, the just-sloppy-enough paint combined with flecks of pocked colors from other toys and edge wear on these vintage fellows warms the heart.

Re: Headshots, bits, and other close-ups Is that come kind of 'filtering' or what is going on on her lady-chest? I actually like the speckled look of it, even if it is weird vinyl aging/damage.

In hand she appears to be a pleasing pale blue, not that you could ever convince my fool camera of that!
