I have the one in the middle. Sadly missing his helmet, a poorly fixed broken arm (Filled with foam and epoxied???) and he ooozes nicotine juices. But i dig him.

Re: strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)
Thanks for all the info on the Colorforms Alien / Space King guys. So it sounds like Bullmark was granted the license to produce these in Japan, but opted to do it in vinyl form (rather than the bendy rubber form) under the "Space King" moniker. This info comes partially from a Wikipedia entry, so take it with a grain of salt. According to the museum website, there were six total produced by Bullmark: Uranus King ('Baltan' guy) Jupiter King Neptune King King Saturn King Venus (winged guy) King Pluto (I think this is the blue guy) Apparently Mars Man (aka, Alpha 7) was taken out. That's kind of weird. I honestly thought these were bootlegs when I first saw them. The history behind them is weird, yet fascinating...

Re: strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)
Did you guys catch this auction of Ultraman artwork?: http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e86766523 According to the seller, "this SEEMS to have been used as the basis for toy packaging." Can anyone confirm? Pretty cool stuff if it's original artwork!

I missed those, but I would wager a certain S7 founder saw them. Great artwork!

Re: strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)
How much of this "insanity" do you think can be attributed to S7. I noticed Nakajima nodders started to go through the roof after the S7 article and now Astro Mu stuff after the mook. Not saying that facts and info are bad, but I think when attention is drawn to a formerly "obscure" line they become "the next big thing."
And this guy's original art is fantastic. I scored a Zone Fighter in his car and targets of 3 Ultraman Ace kaiju. I talked to Mark and he has scored some but not this one (which I think was the nicest of the lot behind that huge Mirrorman one). He is on the trail to try and identify the artist.

I noticed one of the highest bidder's names was Ar2convex, or something like that. Maybe the new Convex SB figures are bringing more attention to that line too.
