Playing catch up here after missing so many great ads from you. Firstly, I love the Toy Museum one, because i. it is great to see so many of the other whistle pendants, and ii. 'toys sold in cheap sweet shops' are right up my alley, and probably exactly what I would have had/wanted as a child. Love the Aoshima and Popy Barom1/KR flyers too, but boy is that Astro-Mu 5 as something. Just one of those beauties would knock me out. I really love all the jumbo fist accessories shown in the other ad too. Just too much toy beauty to choose from. Wish I could make my Christmas list from these.

Talk about some great flyers. If I didn't want every one of those toys before (alas!) I sure would now. I love how the kaiju are some of the less common later ones, that are especially funky; and check out those amazing colours on them. They look almost like Hawaii versions, love the grey colours, and I don't think a lot of these saw production in that form.

I also really love to see all the versions and sizes of the heroes next to each other like that. This is great reference material. Oh to be in the 70s again!

Now this is a flyer I really can get into! It's so bizarre to me how Bullmark made such variation in size, but not really that much difference. Take for example the Ultra Ace shown above. Not much difference btw the 550 size and the 480. I don't get why they did that. Also my brain is officially over worked trying to catalog entire character lines. I always assumed Bandai made those Giant (750 size) toys. So it was Bullmark, which is Bandai...and so I go further down the rabbit hole......

^How old is that flyer? I've never seen the grey/blue Big Eye; I thought the oldest version was green.

Yeah, that is one of the ones I was mentioning I haven't seen before. Some of the others I haven't even seen the vintage sculpts of (Mystellar Seijin for example) but must've have been made at some since there are re-issues of them. A lot of interesting history in that flyer.

They're all (most?) preproduction paint schemes...similar to what you'd see on all those Bullmark promotional posters and other printed goods (like in the Bullmark History boxed set). None of those schemes, to my knowledge, actually made it to production.

^Too bad, those are pretty stylish colors!
