who/what/where is this from?

He is King Zaiga, from Mirrorman.

He's great. Is it a red cape thing or is his head an octopus? Is it Bullmark?

It is part of his head (sorry for the tiny pics). And yep, he is a Bullmark figure. Here is a shot with the header.

Aside from minis and mid-sizes, these two are my first standard vintage toys, and both Bullmark to boot! I wouldn't necessarily say I was bitten by the vintage bug, but I've always wanted a few in my collection. My next acquisition hopes to be a Bullmark Gomora.

Well, you're off to a great start! That King Zaiga is killer...but the Mechanikong is simply amazing. The very simple color palette really gives you a chance to enjoy how tight the sculpt is. He holds a special place in my heart because he was my first Toho Bullmark.

Cat Maddalla? Yeah I went nuts when I saw that! Years ago, it was the first vintage toy I ever wanted and I'd see a ton of them on YJA. I never bid on any of them though. When I finally got really into to vintage last year I looked and this is the first one I've seen pop up all year. This Popy size is my favorite.

A lot of Giant Bullmark Ultraseven have been popping up on YJA.
