Gorilla from Ganbaron. I think he's called Osorosi or "terrible kong". I've seen a few of these but this one is in great shape! Usually the silver is all rubbed out.

Sweet thanks for the info Lixx. Do you happen tot know the maker? I was told it was Bullmark, but the stamps on the feet don't seem very Bullmark-ish to me.

Could be just unmarked. According to my Sato Hero book it's Bullmark.

I love how I receive some things packed...

And the seller took care to pack this carefully, but the wrapping made it look like a scarf:

Ha! Dr. Gori doesn't want to get windswept and ruin his straightened hair! Nice assortment. You've been really busy with Ultraman. So are all three Ultraman (besides the Giant and UltraJack) by Bullmark?

Actually, all three are even older - Marusans! I just kind of lost track of what I was buying! The problem with shopping over such a long period of time. One or two might end up as trade fodder if I decide not to keep them all.

The Ghidorahs were just upgrades (one after another), or so I thought, but then I realized that they all had paint variations (i.e., most notably, different shades of green). I thought my first one had been faded, but now I see its a bit more metallic than the others, although more subdued.

Such am amazing buying spree. One of the jaw-dropping aspects of building up packages to send all at once is you end up with an incredible haul like that. Those Ultras are, of course, spectacular. The Godola is another one I really like too. I have to agree that is an interesting wrapping job. One of the things that concerns me frequently, especially when buying vintage, and particularly so when the toys are a but more expensive, is making sure they arrive to me in the same condition they went out. Ya never know with some of these shipping experiences.

Congrats on a whole whack of amazing scores there man!

Also, did someone say [potential] trade bait? :D

Thanks! I am not so worried about them being damaged during shipping (although that has certainly happened in the past - insurance is your friend) as I am them not being in as good a condition or as complete as I thought they were from the auction photos and translations. Like the Dr. Gori, for example. It has more facial paintwear than I thought. And the large Ultraman Jack - one arm is sort of hanging on by string inside the body. Not happy about that. And my last shipment included one of those diecast chrome Godzilla figures (under the GD- series) that was missing the additional spikes for the lower back. By the time I finally had my stuff shipped, when my agent reached out to the seller, they were very upset and were claiming fraud. I just had to suck it up.

But I believe it saves considerably on the per-figure shipping price to wait until after accumulating a lot. And it is certainly a joy to rediscover what I bought a long time prior and receive a huge bundle of fun. Its like Christmas, opening it all up. I also received a ton of diecast in the same lot (you can see some of it in the background of the photo; I have another photo showing all of that - I just did not think anyone here would be interested).

Wow, another great package full of vintage toys to celebrate. Congrats Lixx! Great that you got the fullsize Cave Ruler now. I really like the mini Ultra (I think he might be Jack) - his goofy grin is just so lovable. And that is a really nice bootleg Zaboga too, plus I love the way you have created symmetry even in just this what's new shot with the colours of those two and the clear cyborgs. :) The 'karate chop' Mirrorman has always been a favourite of mine, I think that is the one from the set with the micro Kittyfire if I am not mistaken. And pendants too....jeez, I could go on and on. Nice man, really nice.

I've been after "karate chop" Mirrorman for a bit, this one came bagged but I had to release him. Cave Ruler is a real stand out with that red head and black suit. I'd like to find the Giant one!

I was thinking the exact same thing. While it's going to be nice lining up all those Popy clears for a group shot, still missing the V3 :|
