The jumbo villains are sought after not only by jumbo collectors but by vinyl and super robot collectors in general. The box does add quite a bit of value to a loose toy. Jumbos, and especially their boxes, are quite large and many were thrown away making them very desirable today.

The Taihou Buffalo box went for 151,000 Yen. Those are the boxes that I skipped buying anything at Morphy's for. Lost on both, making me very, very sad to have come away with nothing overall.  Would have tried harder on the Taihou, but I don't have the toy and it's the "easiest" to get. Man, I love those boxes though. So beautiful...
