 Re: marusan originals
Mark K wrote: That triceratops is from Norakuro of the Japanese Imperial Army. The original Marusan vinyls had characters holding various dinosaurs. This one is marked, but I believe others were not marked. I know this was mentioned in several threads previously. You see them pop up bagged with the dinos every so often on YJA and they go for sevreal hundred dollars mib. Thanks for the info Mark- I've heard of the dinosaurs bagged with the Norakuro vinyls, but had not seen them in person. Now that I look back at the Marusan catalog, however, you can see this one in the hands of one of the characters. Also explains why the stamps match the original kaiju sculpt stamps- same time period. Interesting that they would create such a detailed accessory for another toy. EDIT: Page with photos of the 5 Marusan dolls: http://www.norakuro-room.com/70s01/01.html The text suggests that there are color variations of the accessory dinosaurs. Great.

 Re: marusan originals
Now that is beautiful, such a nice finish, practically glows, yet kind of a mellow, worn look. Just great!

 Re: marusan originals
New guy from Marusan, released under the Tederos line: Look familiar? Wisely, perhaps, they chose to name it King Godoras this time.

Cool! Thanks for posting this news, Daniel. Maybe they couldn't fit it under one of their other lines. I forgot that Marusan was re-using their original characters for Tederos (Ebireon, Bamel and Seabull) when I posted this. In hindsight, it makes sense now. Btw, all the white parts are GID.

There's one on YJ right now if you search for TEDEROS, and Marusan USA has been done for a while.
