Post tiger 7 pickup
Hey all,

Picked this up and was wondering whether or not it's the bullmark original or a bootleg - either way i didn't pay much for it & its a cool toy IMO. If it is the real deal what is the story behind taking vintage toys out of their bags? I've been collecting toys for a few years now but this is my first bagged vintage so i've not wondered about it till now. One the one hand, i feel like i might enjoy it more out of its bag, but then it seems a shame considering it's gone this long without anyone busting it open...

Please notice the header card. This is pure OG. Take a knife and pry open the staples. Then remove toy and sniff...vintage!

tiger 7 and lion maru are 2 of my favorite heros . most of the time i dont try to complete any line up of vinyls but in the case of those 2 i did . just as chad said you can peel back the staples and store the header card in the bag .there are 2 slightly different versions of this toy as one has painted boots and the other does not . nice pick up gilly .

Thanks all - I've freed him from his plastic prison & he looks (and smells) awesome. i'm stoked i got ahold of this, ive had my eyes peeled for some vintage tiger 7 for a while now. I'd love to pick up some more at some stage - how hard are they to find? Bullmark made a 12" version too didn't they?

all the standard size tiger 7 came with gloves . you almost never see a loose one with the gloves included . there are 2 different head colors . brian has both the yellow and the orange versions .

The MIB Tiger 7 ended up at 56,000 Yen. I'd like to have one with the gloves, but not at that price.

What could you expect to pay for an unbagged 12" figure (without gloves)? I'd imagine the fact that it's MIB bumps the price up fairly substantially....

I got mine at Mandarake in Nakano for 12,000 Yen. It's in pretty good shape but has some play wear. I've seen similar ones go on YJA for between 11,000 - 17,000 Yen. MIB does help alot. too.
