You have an Amazing Triton collection!
What do you think is the main difference between the Triton Vintage and current reissue by Medicom?
Thank you and best regards!

I've seen vintage Triton villains for sale between ¥30,000 and ¥60,000, why are prices so high?
I've never seen a Triton of the Sea Vintage for sale, what would be an estimated price is for this figure?
Thanks!

Do not you think, that some of Tritons seems to give them a pass of paint in the hair?

Yes... very sad thing indeed.

Anyone know how to differentiate the vintage Triton from the new Medicom?
To me they look alike, if one wears one of the new can be seen as vintage.

So here's a vintage and the Medicom. The Nakajima is a bit taller and bigger in general. Colours are exactly the same, as are the markings on the feet. Feet on the medicom seem completely crooked and the OG seems to have them less so. But it will be hard to tell them apart if a seller wants to pass a new one for an old one.

So Medicom took the mold on the vintage one, that's why the original is bigger...

Just thought I'd post a pic of my favorite six reissues from Medicom. I'd never be able to afford the originals so it was lovely they did these (Triton of the Sea and the Yonezawa Nodder set are my favorite reissues Medicom did):

Wow! That group shot is making me want them all now, thanks Lixx!

Lixx, great group shot.
Lixx as you say, the originals are nothing cheap; a few days ago I saw the vintage Gerupesu in bag for
¥333,000.
and recently followed the auction of the vintage Poriipeimos (it has a few small scratches but overall looked very good) ended in ¥40,000, a little more than I was willing to spend.
I'll have to start hunting the reissues.
