Jim, that's totally awesome. After I talked to you the other day I realized that I didn't think that I had ever seen any other Yonezawa vinyls. Not really my bag, I'm sure there are many. You should see the diecast Hattori Yonezawa made. It's pretty nice. Remind me to show it to you when you come down..

They are totally attainable. Shipping really isn't as bad as you think..

In 1967, a food company in Italy named Moplas produced these Hanna Barbera premiums to go with their products.
They are pretty scarce- some figures more than others.
Image
fro left to right
Huck Hound, Kitty Hound*, Papa Yogi*, Alfy Gator, Yogi, and BooBoo. The * indicates figures made for the line with no counterpart in the cartoons. They also made the Flintstones, Pixie, Dixie , and various others.
I like them because they're made with different colored pieces, which also makes it hard to find some of them intact.

Re: "cute " vinyls

I have one that my folks bought for me on my first trip to Disneyland circa 1974.
I think it's a Sneezy figure. It's in storage someplace. I'll see if I can dig it out and take a photo.

so is csaimar like the french version of barney ?

Re: "cute " vinyls

Tue Mar 24, 2009 4:43 pm

Casimir was the name of the lead character of a TV program ('L'île aux enfants" = "The children island") from the 70's. It was a costumed actor which had adventures with fellow characters of its kind and human children.

Of what I know it is a character invented by Yves Brunier and Christophe Izard. The concept may have been exported, or may have inspired a program in the US. Or it is just a coincidence.

I am sorry, I don't know too much about Barney, but isn't he a purple dinosaur ?
Maybe they lived together in Pangea back in the prehistoric ages

Anyway, your Casimir is very nice. Which brand is it ?

Not sure if this is rare or strange, but it is cute. Not quite a vinyl, so if offends any one, I will remove it.
Just won this in JPY. It's a noodle timer, and the description reads...

Pickard, deputy to the sound and press the head every 10 seconds "pans" and cry,
and分TATSU "KUREKUREKUREKURE" continued to cry and then just let us know
