do any of you montreal SB 'ers
know who the large vintage vinyl collection that was
showcased at the St-Laurent Dex store
belongs to ? maybe one of you

I asked about this in the store in more than one occasion. Supposedly it belonged to the store owner, but despite several repeat visits and asking for names/card I never got any further with it. The staff [somewhat obviously] had no clue whatsoever, and barely acknowledged its existance. There were a lot of nice pieces there, and it was a huge break from being dragged clothes shopping with the lady friend.

I wish I had some pictures of it. It was very impressive for sure, but just soooo out of place in that store. Moreover, who would ever see it there? I have nightmares every time I think of that place closing down and the possibilities of where it ended up - it is the not knowing that hurts most.

i asked before they closed shop and was told the owner was taking them back.

They also had select pieces of vintage furniture and a dj booth
but when i visited during the last two years it seemed as if they'd given up on the concept.

I was really hoping it was someone from SB.

I did buy an art deco vanity chair/bench for the cat
