Great haul. Those Yonezawa saucers really seem to be desirable! Here's another pic from an older auction I had seen:

I think it was my first trip to Japan i saw one of these Yonezawa UFOs in Godzilla Ya's cafe window. They were open odd hours so I never had an opportunity to visit them and find out if it was for sale or not. Wanted one ever since.
So years later and after losing a few auctions for the whole set decided to hit hard on these 3.
If I ever manage to find the other 2 parts, so be it!
There was also a shady seller on Ebay with this complete set, but they wouldn't accept any offer for it.

Nice pickups, guys.

Scobot, I really love that Leo tin jet. Do the wheel discs spin when it moves? I've seen this before and always enjoyed viewing it.

Yeah Kingboy those discs spin as it travels - I love that style of tin toy and have a few other planes and cars with the same gimmick

Alebrije - That Kikaider is a large reissue Masudaya version with a removable helmet (though I would not recommend it as the cut on the back of the head is very small )

Indeed you did! Some choice vintage toy porn there! I swear I have to figure out kanji for sparkers because I'm on the hunt for Spectreman riding King Ghidorah. Every time I think I have it worked out auto parts come up

Post Re: Vintage Mail Day
Just looking back at some auctions I've bid on, seems there's a number of different search terms out there:
フリクション - friction
発火怪獣 - firing monster
発火恐竜 - firing dinosaur
I imagine there's got to be a few others, and if all else fails there's king ghidorah (キングギドラ) and spectreman (スペクトルマン).

^ Nice! I love it when we share.

What a fantastic box of Tsubuhoian goodness! Solid hunting and commitment.

Every time I see a standard Peguila I wonder to myself how much more difficult it would to track down a Chandlar.... And then I don't do the research. Anyone know if they are significantly more scarce?

Wow! Talk about a great haul. Love the color on that Aboras. The spectreman riding ghidorah is a classic, one of my favorites. Chris- I wouldnt worry about search terms for those. When you try to get too specific with key words you end up missing things (at least in my experience). I think mine was just labeled "vintage kaiju"

Yeah I looked back through some auctions for any specific Kanji after you asked me Chris and realized they were all different ... sometimes not even listed as sparking in any way, couple of others were - main spring and fire monster. Its a bit of chance but I think ive found most with a bullmark or kaiju search

Fantastic horde chimmychazz .. 13 standards and some awesome Tigermask action!

Thanks guys ! Yeah, I find Bullmark nets the most in vintage searching. Good tips all the same.
