Really impressive image clarity and color fidelity! I love shots like this that are so true to the figures and don't distort them with blinding light or heavy background colors. What kind of camera do you have?

Ah, a man with a proper camera! Because I'm on the go a lot of the time, my imageware is on the portable side. My Canon S95 is a gamer and great for low lighting situations, but for macro shots and purer fidelity, it's tough to top an SLR. </weeds>

Re: Village of Vintage Vinyl Villains
God... I have lurked the shadows of this site for what seems like forever. Finally something that has made me break my silence! Ok... In the above picture, the little green guy with bug eyes, centerish, bottom row. What is he? He looks to be a traditional plastic 3.75" figure, and his hip and legs ring a tiny quiet bell deep, deep inside my brain. However I can't place him.
Now I guess I gotta start posting all the time.

Re: Village of Vintage Vinyl Villains
Welcome Misterdroid! Do you mean this little guy? He's one of my favorite villians! Vintage Bandai Chameleon, from the Kamen Rider series. That's the mini size. There are also: Standard size Giant Size! definitely a cutie pie P.S. Wonderful collection Michael! Lots to drool over P.P.S. Love it when the Nakajima wrestlers still have their sashes!

Re: Village of Vintage Vinyl Villains
Nope, I am talking about the guy in front of that guy. He looks more like a plastic 5 point-of-articulation vintage action figure rather than a vinyl style figure. I think his hips and leg construction are reminding me of the old Mattel Flas Gordon series... But also look a little bit like my Banpresto Kinnukuman guys... But the long and short of it is that I like him bunches. Sorry for making this simple question difficult!

Re: Village of Vintage Vinyl Villains
Same character (Grimreaper Chameleon 死神カメレオン)... There was a series of figures made in light of the success of the starwars size and style of figure.

Wonderful collection, Michael. I like the different sizes of the toys and the various shows represented.
