Post Repairing a Masudaya talkers...talker.
So I have a couple of oversized talkers whose talking mechanism aren't working properly. Any ideas how to remove the talking mechanism from the back of the figure? There is a little screw I removed but the mechanism still doesn't come out. I tried a little brute force because it does jiggle in there but no luck.

Any advice for when the mechanism is out from the back of the figure would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

You'll need to heat the vinyl up with a hairdryer to get the box out. I've been able to fix the mechanism before... it's a little stylus and plastic record, think there was a spring and maybe a little rubberband or something. Just gotta make sure the stylus is held in place to spin in the grooves. Do some tinkering and you'll figure it out.
