Yeah, they are the most fun adverts i've found in a while. I wonder how many of those inflatables survive today.

Oh man, I LOVE those inflatables! I wish I could still get my hands on some new versions of these. I would love to stick 'em around and bob 'em everywhere. And those pools are equally killer. I could certainly use an Ultraman wader to cool off in in this heat. In fact, if I had that Ace pool, people would have a hard time pulling me out of it.

Some nice scans of an old Volks resin kit catalogue. My guess would be mid-80's?

Those are really nice, and it is great to see lots of Ultra coverage. I would really love to see (or own) some nicely done up kits from those. Sadly I don't have the model/paint talents myself. Really nice find you dug up there Moog!

^^ Yeah, there's a massive difference between having a bash at painting a kit and actually doing a semi-professional job.
I learned that when i painted my Revell Rat Fink . . . .

More VOLKS, folks . . . .

^ So great ! Would love to have a Gamera & one of those King Gidorah/Mothra sets. Sunguts has great toys, and this doesn't scratch the surface considering all the Kitaro not pictured.

^^ Yeah, the Akuma-kun and GeGeGe no Kitaro stuff would take up a couple of pages on their own.

I just picked this up recently and think pretty much anyone following this thread is going to find some stuff they like in there. Mostly geared toward robot stuff it's pretty jam packed:

^^ Looks really cool . . .

How is the scan / print quality? 8x10 is a pretty good size.
