 non-vinyl in the trade forum?
what is the policy on trying to sell stuff (ie video games, posters etc) in the for sale forum that isn't vinyl/toy related? i have a bunch of DS games that i'd like to get rid of and i know a few people on here have a DS.
if that's not cool, its totally understandable. just figured i would ask.

I feel that we should keep this forum just vinyl talk, sale, trade etc. If you have other things not relating to that, maybe the best thing to do is ask who has a DS and just PM them. I feel like if this starts more and more will follow and it will become more of a ebay thing than a toy collectors forum.
Another option is PM anyone that works at S7 and ask. We will tell you if it's ok or not.

The Illuminati discussed this recently, and I would prefer that you wait until someone like Pogue or Brian checks in, but in general, if it is a product that would be covered in Super7 magazine, such as an artist's T-shirt or print, or a toy (duh), then it's appropriate. I don't think video games would really fit that criteria.

I guess you can sell whatever you want. Howevere, I don't think selling ramdom stff in the BST will be very effective. I also think it will annoy a lot of people.

I've already just made a thread in the whatever section saying "hey, I have (whatever) for sale." like I've sold some DVDs and stuff here already. I think if anything that's a more appropriate place for that.

Yea i reckon post in the whatever section asking who has a DS then send some PM's. Maybe make it a thread about favourite DS games and mention that you've got some extra games if anyones keen for them......
I think you'd best leave the for sale section for vinyl to avoid any possible rage

I'll poke around the supermarket next time I'm there. Hopefully the Vday candies aren't gone yet.
You actually like those candy hearts. My god...

I actually find it kind of annoying when a thread has anything other than Kaiju...as it is time I could be spending reading another thread or anything but looking at stuff i don't think should be here...
I think Pogue is politely saying that you can hang yourself if you like...no one is going to stop you...but to think before you do it.
I'd love cheap DS games...but I'd much rather see if you have any Kaiju for sale...it would suck if the BST forum turned into a clearing house for everyone's crap.

not to be too rude, but you could just skip the topics youre not interested in.
i kind of wish there was a broader range of stuff discussed here, not just kaiju toys. there are a lot of other cool japanese toys, as well as cool vinyl that is not from japan. of course, there are designated sections for those topics, i just wish they saw more action.
as for non-toy sales, i would probably suggest posting them in 'whatever' as opposed to 'bst', as it would probably generate a more positive response.

I always read posts of people bitching about taking stuff elsewhere to sell, yet i see toys being posted that are tin and plush. and, i may be wrong, but i always thought kaiju were monster toys (haven't been in the game long enough to understand the full extent of the term "kaiju". so, why are some monsters ok and some aren't?

Re: non-vinyl in the trade forum?
Sell vinyl and tagging along some other stuff (non-kaiju or vinyl) I think is acceptable. If you're selling stuff to clear the garage then maybe not a great a idea. Don't wanna start a trend where everyone sells everything here right? But if you really have to then the posting them in the 'whatever' section, as suggested by Josh, is the way to go.
