I miss the magazine, but I do love the mook too. So when is the next issue coming out?

Re: Mook ?
The Mook is the magazine. The magazine is the Mook.

Re: Mook ?
Is that like having your mind on your money and your money on your mind?
I'm sure this is not shared by many, but I'd give up the fanciness to go back to bi-monthly or quarterly or whatever it was.

Re: Mook ?
What did I like more? Frequency and more articles by you, by Brian, by Roger, by Bwana etc. Pretty pictures are nice, but I actually prefer reading on the john.

Re: Mook ?
Kinda agree with ya. Maybe it's just been a while since I flipped through the mook, but in my (often faulty) memory it seemed kinda light on text-based content. Also, the frequency issue does pose problems. I'd REALLY like an article on Toygraph to coincide with their rising popularity due to the Space Troopers, but it can't really be done in a timely manner in the mook format. BTW, when is the next mook scheduled to be released? Despite all of my above comments I'm still really looking forward to it!

Re: Mook ?
I love the mook, the shots, the text etc and I love how it sits on the shelf. That being said...I'd be more interested in a bimonthy or trimonthly thinner mook. (Maybe half the size or less)
At the current rate that these toys come out (i.e. rxh minis), most of the articles, if based on 'current' toys, will be outdated by the time the next one comes.

Re: Mook ?
The Mook is definitely awesome, but I too would love to see the magazine return. The things I liked about the mag were the diversity of subject matter, and the article based format. The Mook is great but I'd like to see it as an Annual in the way that Marvel comics put out annuals back in the day. A once a year blockbuster that drops eyecandy and does a complete retrospective on a toy line but in support to a regular monthly/bimonthly magazine. I realize that you have your hands in multiple endeavors the least interesting is probably publishing but that is my nerdy wish for S7 Magazine/Mook.

I bought Issue#1 back in '02 the day it came out and still look at it almost daily. I agree with everybody that the Mook is awesome, and works as an annual type deal, but the lack of the periodical magazine has left a huge hole in my heart the Mook just can't fill. I miss the stories like Warren Schwartz's discovery of the Capsule Robo G at Mike Z's legendary Day-Old antiques. Or just the overall history lessons on vintage toys as well as articles on what's hot at the moment.

Re: Mook ?
The magazine will make a resurgance of sorts in 09, granted the mook is the magazine too, so, just think of the magazine as existing in several forms soon. Whee!

Re: Mook ?
Well that's great news as the Mook seriously left me wanting.... Honestly it's really purdy an' all, but I don't think Ive picked it up since I first received it, looked at it once, and shelved it... But I still find myself looking back through the old issues.

Re: Mook ?
If it is possible in the future, I would like a spotlight article on the sculptors of the fight figures. I love collecting the s.b., gargamel, and super 7 figures. I know who sculpted some of them but others I often wonder about. Could we get a section in the next mook or mag or zine. Thanks.,.,.,
