Post Gargamel Release At TT.
Hey, just a quick poll. TT is getting the Gargamel lucky bags and blind bags with and without eggs if they haven't already. I was proposing to do a lottery style for all the heads that wanted to come down and try their luck. I want to meet some skullbrainers out here so let's propose a date some people can actually make it. New Years day, or during the rest of the week?

yeah man, but from the cricket chirping, Lev may not need to do anything like that. Just put it up for sale. Real limited supply too. Where's the Love?

Maybe he just meant if they were being sold thru TT then what's the need for a lottery? You mean to split up the bags so we wouldn't have to put down $400 for a full bag? I'm tempted as hell, but my wallet is laughing at me.

I'm down for meeting up anyway, I've yet to meet a single SB'er...

ha, I wish I was lyrical genius. This Gargamel release is part of Super 7's new distribution deal. All the stores mentioned are releasing the same Gargamel stuff at the same cost at supposedly the same time. It gives people a reason to leave the computer screen and go down to the local store, wait in line, BS with other people on this board, and imitate the LASK crew. Lev got his shipment in today I believe but I thought that maybe he could postpone the sale so people on this board can actually get together and actually see it in person before dropping the dough. Make a little event out of it. His supply is limited and I actually thought the demand in NYC would be greater than the supply.

yeah, I hear that. I was actually hoping that I could meet up with people who actually bought it so I could live vicariously through them when they opened them.

Though TT is easily the best shop in NYC for this stuff, I'm gonna fucking boycott them if they don't get their site sorted out. No matter where I am, on mac or pc, safari, firefox, internet exploder, etc. I can never access the site. Anyone else have that problem?

I live hand to mouth most of the time but those LBs are so fucking tempting...even though I can't technically afford one, I know if I was in the shop staring at one I'd have to throw down.

There's alot of us strapped right now. It would've been cool to go and collectively buy one and raffle off the division amongst the participators.

that's what I figured you meant...if they're not all gone I'd be game to split one with you...though we'd most likely want the same pieces 8)

ok we'll theoretically say we wanna go in on a bag...
(Sounds like a pot deal right?)
I'd only want the tobacco dude (for def) (and maybe the micronaut guy) at most.
...
I sound so knowledgeable

Not sure if any of you guys are going in for the Gameppa but I would throw in for just that figure out of the bag.
Let me know. Sounds like we can all walk away with good stuff!

so far so good - I only want the large Hedoran or possibly a HP bako if there is one. Question is, did TT open today and did they sell them all? I can call tomorrow and see what the deal is, unless Lamour knows already.... :?:

m3kcomp posted in another thread that TT indeed was not open today,
and they apparently haven't sold any of their lucky bags yet.

Hey everyone. This is the scoop. Lucky Bags and blind bags go on sale tonight at Toy Tokyo. 6pm. 1/2/08 Wed. Phone and web orders. I would call if you're having trouble with the website.
I tried holding out for a special instore event but it didn't look like enough interest. Good luck to all that wants one.

Thanks for the info Lamour...I was planning on going over there but some work related stuff came up. If anyone else that wanted to split up a bag can make it, I'm in for a Hedoran. Sorry guys...
