He's going to have the full solo show treatment at the Brooklyn Museum.

sigh I wish I was there... have been a fan for 10 years and the only work I have seen is the painting in MOMA.

I'm supposed to be there Thursday. I just have to see if I can free the time up in my schedule. If I cannot I will probably see it mid week next. I don't know if there's any prints or just more of the stretched canvas over metal with the LV patterns like there were in MOCA. If it's just more of those I don't know if my credit cards can absorb more of them. (I still haven't hung the ones from the CA show) I'd love there to just be a print print but we will see.

I'm jealous. Being in the NW I haven't seen anything of his since the Superflat show.
Are there going to be any outrageously priced prints? If anyone wants to play a belated April Fools joke on their bank account you could buy one for me.

The Wife of the Brooklyn Bourough president snaked 8 placemats that Murakami designed for patrons of the fancy dinner then she had him sign them all and when people called her out she was all "you snooze you lose!" and laughed it off... When they busted on the Bourough President (Think Mayor Quimby) he was all "Ya win some you lose some" trying to be endearing when they were just gonna flip em... what assnumps
