 Hey Chicago Peeps! First off, just want to thank everyone at S7 for the honor of being a mod here...hopefully we can get some Chicago info out to the masses...
Hey Chicago area residents: I know we haven't had too much of a JP toy presence but that is quickly changing. Following the recent Toy Karma show, Rotofugi has been carrying some more JP items...also they have recently partnered up in S7's new distro plan so much more is on the way. I hope we can start to build up the excitement for JP toy releases...for instance, I was very cold and lonely when I was the ONLY person who showed up in person for the Skulltoys release at Roto when they opened, lol.
So I urge fellow Chicago area members to post relevant toy/art info in this forum...i.e. did anyone hit up the opening of Grasshut's show at DvA?? I missed it but saw the stuff in person later...great show but it didn't get much of a mention here even though we have lots of Grasshut fans on this forum. I hope we can rectify that.
That said, Happy upcoming New Year, and I hope to see you hung over folks at Roto for some lucky bag action.

Welcome aboard Zac. I can't wait to hear what is up in Chicago! I visited there early 90's and it's a beautiful City - probably more so now!

I couldn't make it out for the Skulltoys release (actually I found out about it too late), and have been hiding out and avoiding Roto, due to saving my pennies for some high dollar items.
I am definitely hitting up Roto on New Years, so I hope to see many of you guys there.

Hey Zac good to see you at the helm for Chicago.
I fell in love with your city when we came in for the Toy Karma show at Rotofugi.
Chicago is the only city in the states I would consider living in, the one thing that was missing was KAIJU and now that is being corrected thanks to you and Rotofugi.

yay zac. good to see you get to be our noble chicago leader. we went to the dva show. it was off the chain. great to be able to talk to mike and bwana, and made off with a sweet bwana/lemerde drawing. those guys rule very very hard. the sheets of ice falling from the sky weren't good for the turnout there... but hey. glad you/we/chicago is here with the power.
