With SDCC, G-Fest and everything else coming up, Putt putt is probably going to be cancelled for July. Hopefully we can all get together in August. If anyone is coming to G-fest I am still planning something for all of us to get together.

^ Yeah, this month will be pretty busy. I had my birthday weekend already, then I will have a friend's bachelorette party to go to, then my bridal shower, then G-Fest, and then my friend's wedding all this month, and we'll have taste testing (wedding food) as well as a few other things squeezed in there somewhere also... Thankfully we have 5 weekends this month so we can fit everything in lol.

I am definitely planning to go to G-Fest. I'll most likely go on the Saturday, but if you guys will plan a get together a different day, I'll try to go that day instead.

Dealers room closes at 5pm. I am planning to go to Rotofugi if at all possible for the big party 6-8pm. I will have to take a cab. Is anyone else going?

from what i can tell, putt-putt is cancelled for this month since g-fest takes precedence over putt-putt is everyone planning on attending the roto yo-yo afterparty rather than g-fest movie night on saturday? we should probably plan the sb gathering around one or the other.

also, linda, it would be very expensive to take a cab from rosemont to roto. it's almost as quick and much cheaper to take the el. just one transfer from the blue line (only a few blocks from the hotel) to the red line is all it takes.

I'm planning to go to both, and I will be in my car.. So.. if you or anyone (probably room for 4 people total (plus me)) would like to Roto afterwards, let me know

Easiest way to get to Rotofugi from Rosemont...you take the Blue Line to the Logan Square stop, then take the #76 Diversey bus Eastbound to the intersection of Diversey/Racine/Lincoln.
Track when the bus is coming by using www.ctabustracker.com on your smart phone, if you have one.

i try to avoid instructing out-of-towners to take the bus because it almost always gets confusing or seems intimidating to them compared to the trains.
