For everyone living out there in the wilderness
Wed Nov 27, 2013 12:05 pm
Thinking about this more, Sunday is probably too late for me. I have to start heading back home then. For me, Friday or Saturday would be best. Sorry.

Let me check with the family about Friday or Saturday.

Okay looks like Saturday can work. I could be there at 4pm. How's that look for you guys?
Can someone hit Scott up and see if he can go?

I will be there from 1:00pm until the dark of night.

Saturday works for me too! I brought the items from my trade page with me, along with some other show-and-tell stuff, although I am not sure if they are of interest to the attendees. Hopefully.

James/tiredchildren brought these
Myles/Kingboy D brought these
Bemler, one King Ghidorah, and Gabara stayed and an M1 MechaG, a Sunguts GMK/Baragon set and a Bullmark Zarab-seijin left.
Food and fun was had by all.
Next time - January - Be There

Sorry I couldn't be there this time, will definitely get time off from work for the next one!

^^ Not all for trade - some just for show!
Big thanks to Linda and Lee for having me over, and for being such generous hosts. Her collection is both broad in scope and beautifully arranged - truly awe-inspiring and fun to view! I felt that her tastes were very similar to mine. I was able to see (and handle!) some of my grails in person. But the highlight of the event was of course meeting these fellow collectors in person and being able to talk shop; getting together with people who appreciate and understand this hobby that consumes so much of our lives. I had a great time before being suddenly beckoned back by static at the home-front.
It was also nice to meet James - too bad he could not stay longer. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to attend one of these gatherings again in the future.

Yeah Myles, definitely cool getting to meet you! Hopefully you can come up to see your in-laws again and disappear over to Ruskin (or wherever we meet) for a few hours.

Mon Jan 20, 2014 7:09 am
I'm moving into a new office the weekend of February 1st, but the weekend after that might be good.
Mon Jan 20, 2014 12:55 pm
Sunday sfternoon Jan 26 or Feb 2?
Mon Jan 20, 2014 10:28 pm
I think 01/26 could work for me but James might be still moving on 02/02
Mon Jan 20, 2014 11:17 pm
I have to go out of town on the 26th. But I don't know my schedule for the 2nd, so please don't change the plans based on me.
Tue Jan 21, 2014 8:28 am
I'll be celebrating my wife's birthday this Sunday afternoon and I'm probably still going to be busy on Groundhog Day, so I'm unavailable until the weekend of Feb. 8th & 9th.
Tue Jan 21, 2014 1:58 pm
you guys are impossible
maybe you each should just make an availabilty schedule and we will pick the date that most can make it.
We are retired so any day, any time is feasible. We love to have guests at the Studio, we have yet to play Godzilla pinball, slots or darts with you guys, maybe that's because the vinyls are actually more exciting. (to me they are)

It's all James' fault!
Anyone opposed to Feb 8th?
