Post Places to visit in Washington D.C.?
I'm heading to D.C. (from Baltimore) on Saturday for most of the day (mostly for the Cherry Blossom Festival). I was wondering if there are recommendations for cool museums or stores or restaurants? I'm pretty sure there aren't any stores that sell kaiju, but maybe someone knows of one? I'm planning on going to the National Zoo and probably the International Spy Museum and all the monuments, but looking for more places to visit. Thanks!

^^the spy museum is really fun. The exorcist stairs in Georgetown are cool, I'd see those if you get a chance.

The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria is pretty cool. Lots of artists rent space there and have their studios and shops open to the public.

def check out the exorcist steps. careful though, they get more narrow the higher you go up them.

sadly, there arent any kaiju shops. i think golden monkey comics might be in georgetown still.

if you like sushi, hit up stickey rice. its an awesome spot and run by real good people. (i know one of the owners)

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try to visit them. I was about to cancel the trip because of the possible government shutdown but it looks like that's finally over :)
