Post New Orleans
I'm heading to New Orleans soon and looking for street art, galleries, and toy suggestions for the area. I have a pretty good host for food and music but I'm looking for some suggestions on all those other things. Thanks!

You can check out a few of the Banksy's that are left...

Not sure how many are left, but we checked out a bunch a few years back.

There are some cool shops/antique stores on Magazine Street (in the Garden District).

Some of the cooler shops in the French Quarter are closer to the French Market.

We are planning our yearly trip for November (can't wait)!

There are no toys.

Right now, the Red Truck Gallery at 938 Royal Street has a group show featuring an original Mark Ryden and Camille Rose Garcia, among others.

You can also check out La Madama Bazarre at 910 Royal Street.

Both of these are in the French Quarter.

As is Marie Laveau's House Of Voodoo on 739 Bourbon Street which can be interesting.

If you are into records, there are a bunch of good record stores.

I live here so if you have other questions, just ask...

I highly doubt they're still around but I'll be looking to see if I can find traces, thank you!

Post Re: New Orleans
New Orleans was great. Best meal was at a place called Cane and Table http://www.caneandtablenola.com/
Found a few good galleries, most of them on Royal St. They seemed to get better the further away from Canal St I went. Red Truck Gallery had some fun stuff but Afa was my favorite. They had some Kathie Olivas originals that were great as well as a few Maurice Sendak which were cool to see. I also went to the Warehouse District and saw some nice galleries on Julia St. The best of the bunch there was the Jonathan Ferrara Gallery.
Thanks for all of the suggestions
