ATLiens and sofubi: Am I alone in this southern wasteland?

Who here hails from Atlanta? I'm from New York but moved down here long enough to consider myself a native (20 years). Atlanta doesn't have a great art scene, so sofubi and toy collecting in general seem desolate.
