 Japanese Super Heroes @ Atlas Cafe (April 18th @ 8:30) Hey Locals---tonight at the Atlas Cafe Microcinema (20th & Alabama, down in the spooky Mission):
From the flyer: "An overview of the subculture of Japanese superheroes, in a rapid-fire video montage. Also - Ultraman VS his Enemies compilation, plus amazing Japanese television Toy Commercials (robots, monsters and the whole bento box)."
And coming up on June 13th: "Kaiju A Go-Go!! A two-hour Japanese rubber-movie-monster fest, with battle scenes from the original Gojira, as well as many other rampaging massive creatures including Mothra, Gamera, Gigan, Rodan, King Ghidora and more! With live commentary."
