Re: BASK 2010 Trade Fest (Sat 3/27, 10AM @ Super7) Roll Call!
Thank you Super 7 for hosting the BASK Tradefest!

I really had a fun time on Saturday!
Thank you too, to Joe, for helping me to set up my corner, and for bringing along the name tags and for the people who wore them. I finally was able to put the faces with the names, and I hope I wasn’t too weird when I tried to read your tags

, but I really wanted to know who people were!
There were so many toys and treats there

. Those flocked Domokuns were so cute! The best part of Tradefest was just seeing everyone having fun and talking about toys.
THANK YOU Brian!

I saw the sweetest plush lying on the floor, that reminded me somewhat of a Taxali Monkey toy, when Bert told me to ask Brian about him, Brian GAVE HIM TO ME (the plush not Bert!

)!!! Instant sunshine! I had to resist the urge to leap out and hug Brian, as I haven’t observed that hugging is a Skullbrain thing

.
Brian, if you are reading this, I remember you told me that the plush was a collaborative effort between Gary Taxali and ??? Can you please tell me who the second person was?
Uberboy, thank you for introducing yourself, I’ve always wanted to meet you, and I enjoyed our conversation! Thank you to everyone for making this a fun and successful event for me and Mr. Bean, and for everyone that came up to introduce themselves, it was nice meeting so many people.
Mr. Bean is fully recovered after a nasty eye injury. Skullbrainers are indeed a generous bunch!!! Our
heartfelt thanks for your contributions. The donations plus our monthly allotment from our next paycheck for Pet Budget, will
fully cover the remaining balance on a sizeable vet bill, but it’s worth any greenery to see Mr. Bean healthy, happy, and full of mischief again.
In case you were wondering, Mr. Bean is the brain-child behind the design of the toy tags

He really is a pretty good graphic artist
Babo was delighted to see Mr. Bean make a full recovery (he no longer has googie eyes, as you can see on the toy tags he designed)

Babo really wanted to celebrate, but Mr. Bean wasn’t sure about the chapeau
Mr. Bean prefers the simple life

(see all that white cat hair on the carpet? It belongs to Snowman, our second cat—he managed to “fix” our vacuum job in 1 hour!)
My deepest thank yous to all who helped out Mr. Bean

. And even if you couldn’t make a donation, I am
SINCERELY and
TRULY happy that you were able to provide a home for my toys. I am faced with a possible move, and Spring repairs to our condo will necessitate that we pack up all of our possessions and put them into storage. I really love my toys, and more than anything, I wanted to give them good homes to people who would appreciate them. As an FYI, the Uglydolls are
all brand new. Due to lack of display space, they were all hibernating in plastic cocoons (aka. Bags), and had only been released to be brought to the show. So if you are worried about pet allergies , please put your minds at ease. What made it all worth it was to see how happy it made people

, who were surprised by the find! Thank you Skullbrainers! Mr. Bean also sends a cute kitteh kiss to each and everyone

P.S. Uberboy, thank you so much for posting pics of your toy adoptions, I just melted when I saw Ninja Ice Bat comforting your girlfriend. I hope you like the Kanegon bank, it was part of a large JYA lot that I won, and for some weird reason, it has a greasy vinyl feel. So nice to meet you!
